Il punk che fa bane. Il punk crea soldi per chi ne ha meno e che fa bene all’animo e alle orecchie di ascolta.
Quel gran cuore di Andrea Rock, punk rocker da sempre e speaker di Virgin Radio, anche quest’anno ripropone un’iniziativa interessantissima. Italian Punks Go Acoustic. Altri pezzi cult del punk verranno analizzati da band più o meno emergenti o già note e li trasformeranno in versione acustica dando quel classico senso di unplugged, senza corrente, alle canzoni. Sono molte le band che hanno aderito, addirittura 120. provenienti da Italia ed estero. Vanilla Sky, Federica Sala e The Fire sono solo alcuni nomi delle nuove adesioni. Saranno 41 tracce, due album al prezzo di uno e l’uscita fisica del disco è prevista per febbraio 2014.
Tutti i proventi della compilation (esattamente come è per tutti i progetti messi in piedi dal collettivo, dai concerti al merchandising) saranno sempre destinati all’ Associazione ONLUS “L’isola che non c’è” , il cui obiettivo è offrire gratuitamente corsi di musica a ragazzi disabili. Lo scorso anno sono stati raccolti oltre 6000 euro grazie alle performance dal vivo e alle iniziative speciali realizzate a supporto dell’Isola.
