A woman in Mestre (Venice) was robbed and accuses herself: "Giacomo's death is my fault, I should have kept quiet and not sought assistance".

Carmen, a Colombian woman living in Mestre, is still traumatized and feels guilty for the death of Giacomo Gobbato, a young man who intervened in her defense during a robbery. Carmen says she should have remained silent and not called for help, because if she had not screamed, Giacomo would still be alive. Her attacker, a homeless Moldovan, after robbing Carmen, attempted to attack a Japanese tourist, but was helped to escape by an Albanian civilian and arrested shortly after. Despite the trauma, Carmen and her partner Loris were supported by Giacomo's relatives and friends with comfort and courage.
